Our private Valle Nevado and Farellones tour is a scenic snow day trip from Santiago for travelers who want to see the Andes in winter without skiing. You'll get panoramic views of the ski resorts and real contact with the snow, above 3,000 meters (9,800 ft).
We don't enter the ski areas or buy lift tickets: the day is all about the landscape, the mountains and the snow. On the winding mountain road we stop for photos and at a snow-gear rental shop. At Valle Nevado, one of the leading ski resorts in South America, you enjoy a picnic breakfast, and in Farellones, a traditional Alpine-style mountain village, there's time to walk around.
It works well for families with kids, older travelers and anyone who wants to experience snow at an easy pace. The vehicle is for your group only, with hotel pickup in Santiago.
