The Cajón del Maipo Premium Experience is our most complete private Andes day trip from Santiago. In about ten hours it combines mountain scenery, a little wellness, good food and some of the most photogenic spots in the Maipo canyon, one of the most striking landscapes within easy reach of the capital.
We pick you up early at your hotel and serve breakfast on board as we drive into the mountains. Along the way we stop at a snow viewpoint and outside the historic El Tinoco tunnel. Then comes a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, time to unwind in a sauna or hot tub, and a hot chocolate at Casa de Chocolate before heading back.
It's a private tour, so the vehicle and the day are for your group only, and solo travelers can book it too. If you don't speak Spanish, consider adding our optional bilingual guide.
