This private day trip from Santiago pairs a classic Chilean winery with the central coast. We start at Undurraga, one of the most traditional wineries in Chile, with a guided visit of about 70 minutes led by the winery team.
You will walk through the historic park designed by French landscape architect George Henry Dubois, the Aliwen corner (a tribute to the Mapuche people and their worldview), the vineyards and variety garden, the century-old underground cellars and the "Gente de la Tierra" collection. The visit ends with a tasting of 3 reserve wines and a souvenir glass.
Then we head to the coast: San Alfonso del Mar in Algarrobo, home to the world's largest swimming pool, with time for lunch; Algarrobo beach; and Isla Negra, where we stop outside Pablo Neruda's house museum overlooking the Pacific.
